How the range is organised
Every Harzly shear starts from the same question: what does a groomer's hand do over eight hours? The answer shapes the handle, the tension system and the edge geometry — not the other way round.
Blades are Japanese Takefu VG-10 or JP440C, hand-finished to a convex edge. Tension runs on our own control system with a smart screw, so you set it once and it stays.
Common questions
Which cut rate should I start with?
60% is the everyday workhorse. Add 30% for faces and detail, and a 100% straight or curve for finishing lines.
Do you make left-handed shears?
Yes — true left-hand builds, not mirrored labels, in VG10 Thinners 7.5" and Curved Thinners 7.5".
How do I check tension?
Hold the shear level, open the blades fully and release. It should stop naturally at about 45°.
